What Are Metal Free Implants?

Zirconia dental implants, also known as metal-free dental implants, were created as an alternative to the traditional titanium dental implant. Zirconia is a lightweight ceramic material that is incredibly durable and resistant to warping or corrosion.

Zirconia is often used as a holistic option for patients wanting an implant solution that will benefit their overall health. Traditional titanium metals can cause complications for patients who have a sensitivity or allergy to metals. This can result in bone loss or implant failure.

Zirconia dental implants are biocompatible and hypoallergenic, therefore, sensitivity and allergies are not an issue.

Zirconia vs Titanium Implants

Aesthetics. Traditional titanium dental implants can result in aesthetic complications, especially in patients with gum recession. The gums may develop a visible grey line due to the titanium metal implant or implants inserted into the jaw bone beneath the gums. Contrastingly, Zirconia dental implants are white in color and serve to provide a more natural, aesthetically pleasing look.

Soft Tissue Healing and Osseointegration. Zirconia and titanium implants are both biocompatible. They both fully integrate with the jawbone and gums, providing a stable structure for the longevity of the dental implant.

Durability. Both Zirconia and titanium dental implants are very durable and offer long-term success. These dental implant types were designed to sustain powerful forces and pressures with ease, such as those endured when chewing or speaking.

Procedure Time. Most Zirconia dental implants consist of one singular piece, making the procedure time much shorter compared to traditional titanium dental implants. Titanium dental implants consist of two pieces: the implant and the abutment.

Long Lasting, Beautiful Results

If you are looking for a completely natural, long-lasting restoration for missing teeth, Zirconia dental implants are the perfect solution.

Zirconia Implants provide patients with the most natural-looking results due to their white ceramic posts. This eliminates the possibility of darkening below the gumline that normally occurs with titanium implants, therefore, providing patients with a more confident smile.

Zirconia dental implants look and function like natural teeth and are well known for their flexibility and durability under immense amounts of pressure. If you're longing for effective, beautiful results choose Zirconia dental implants.

Our Process

At our offices, we take pride in providing individualized solutions for every patient. The process begins with a complimentary consultation, where you will meet with one of our elite specialists.

During the consultation, x-rays, CT scans, and photographs will be taken of your mouth. This will help develop a treatment plan that best suits your needs. All of our imaging and scans are completed in our office, making it convenient for our patients and our specialists.

Once this is completed, you will meet with your personal treatment plan coordinator who will help guide you throughout your treatment process. They will be there from your initial consultation to your post-operative appointments, answering any questions or concerns you may have regarding the treatment or finances.
